More May Memos

Our local Art Center held the annual Members Only Show in April, and awards were given in all the categories. I am happy to say that both my entries won ribbons!

My painting named "Hopeful In Kibera" was awarded

 First Place in the Watercolor division!

This ink sketch of my daughter roller skating was given

the Second Place ribbon in Graphics!

(I call it "Summer Sidewalk")

We have a new addition to our growing Kelly Clan! My great-nephew made his long-awaited arrival this week and I painted another Baby Namecard for him.  I used Micron ink for the drawing, watercolor paints, and Moon Palace Sumi ink for the calligraphy.
