Lisa draws...

Cary Grant, Silver Screen Star
This graphite portrait was awarded Best of Show, and First Place in its category, in 2013 at our local county fair.

Lissa
One of my first drawings for commission.I do darker work now; you can tell my earlier works because of the light hand I used.

Kat
Another early work. I got a lot of feedback on this one when I posted it on my Facebook page.

Classical Grace
This drawing won Best in Show at our local county fair in 2015...

...and Second Place in the Members Only Art Show in Ponca City in 2015.

Silver Screen Star Errol Flynn
When I first began work on the suit coat, I thought I would never get it completed! But after a while I began to enjoy the process. I really like how this portrait turned out, but it has not won any ribbons.😃

60th Anniversary
My life-long friend commissioned this drawing of her parents a few years ago.  A big celebration was held and we enjoyed an outdoor cookout and live music. This portrait was a surprise for the lovely couple. They are still both alive as of this post, but sadly the husband has been admitted into a nursing home recently.

Almost Newlyweds
I drew this for my nephew and his fiance and gave it to them for a wedding gift. I still had it on my drawing board in this photo. I forgot to take a good picture of it before I had it framed. This was made from two different pictures, cut and taped together to make the reference.

Royal Hat
Here is Princess Kate! I love to see her hats and lovely dresses! My sister-in-law makes bespoke bridal headpieces and she bought this drawing to hang in her workroom/studio. I like how the hat turned out- it took a long time to shade everything so carefully.  This pencil portrait was awarded Best of Show at our local county fair in 2014, and Honorable Mention at the Members Only Art Show in Ponca City that same year.

Little Brother's First Birthday
This is a drawing of my oldest nephew's three children done with a Sharpie marker on white artboard. The finished size is 16x20 and was completed in April 2017.

American Icon Jackie Kennedy
I did this graphite drawing especially for our Members Only Art Show in April 2017.  The camera is showing a glare on the top of her hair because of so much graphite on the paper. I did not place at the show but later on in the fall at the county fair she was awarded Best in Show, and First Place in Pencil Portraits.
