Travel Journal - Colonial Williamsburg

Another page completed in my travel journal from October 2017!
After we left Washington, DC, we traveled towards South Carolina, intending to visit some friends. On the road we saw signs for Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, and decided there was no time like the present to see the sites there.

We could not drive into the old part of Williamsburg that is restored, so had to park and walk. A lot. But everything was so interesting and the weather was so beautiful that we really enjoyed traipsing all around. We could have ridden in a horse-drawn carriage like so many others were doing, but we just continued on foot.

Hopefully, my next post will have another page or so about the Merchant Square shops and dining.
