At six months old, my little grandson is cuter than ever! I finally got to see him a little while this past week. We have been out of state at an old-fashioned campmeeting held in an open-air "tabernacle." So needless to say, I had put my sketching aside for a while. I did take my sketchbook and pencils etc on our trip, but I never got them out one time! Maybe some day...
Back at home, I am now eager to get going again on my challenge of drawing Beric for 30 days. In this post I am sharing Days 9 and 10.

I don't think I have really been successful so far in catching a real likeness. Maybe by the end of this challenge I will finally get it right! These sketches are done in Micron 005 ink, after using pencil first. Day 10 is the first page in my new Stillman & Birn notebook (Beta Series, for wet and dry media).
